Kindergarten Standards For January 25 - 29
Reading Foundation
RF.K.2d - Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words.* (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.)

Reading Information-
K.RI.3-With prompting and support, describe the relationship between two individuals, events, ideas, or pieces of information in a text.

K.RI.1- Ask and answer questions about key details in a text.

Writing
W.K.2 Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose informative/explanatory texts in which they name what they are writing about and supply some information about the topic. I can use pictures and writing to write about information on a topic.
Math
K.OA.4: For any number from 1 to 9, find the number that makes 10 when added to the given number, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record the answer with a drawing or equation.
I can add two numbers to make 10. I can find a missing number to make 10.
EPIC and Renaissance!
Hello Parents,
This is a website that allows students to read AR books. Students are required to read five (5) books each nine weeks.
Please follow the instructions below to start your child reading journey in Epic Books.
Go to www.getepic.com/students
Enter Class Code: kqu9687
Find your child’s name on the list and click on it.
Now parents students will have to take AR tests in Renaissance. Students can only test Monday - Friday (7:00am - 8:00pm). Use the link below to take tests on books after reading in Epic:

Click on (I am a Student) and use the same login information. (Example: Username are the numbers behind the students initials) (Password: p + the numbers)
After login click on the orange button (Take a Quiz), and then type in the name of the book in the search box (Find a Book).

Use the link below for i-Ready. Students are required to complete assigned teacher lessons in Reading and Math. In Reading, students should complete 2 My Path lessons and 1 Teacher Assigned in Reading Foundation, Reading Information, and Reading Literature each week. For Math, students should complete 2 My Path lessons and 2 Teacher Assigned lessons each week. Lessons will available Monday morning and are due by 12:00 noon on Friday each week. These lessons must be passed with a score of 80% or better in order to count as their i-Ready requirement. These grades will count as a part of their homework grade.
